PROFILE:MATCH® indicates to what extent an applicant’s temperament is likely to facilitate performance in a particular role and to what extent they may need to control, develop or compensate for their natural temperament in order to achieve the desired performance.

The creators of PROFILE:MATCH®, Psychological Consultancy Limited (UK), have many years experience in providing individually crafted personality assessment reports based on their clients' own competency frameworks. PROFILE:MATCH® was developed originally as an in-house ‘expert system’ to address issues about the fairness and consistency of that approach. It was designed to eliminate any variability in profile interpretation between different psychologists working on the same project. PROFILE:MATCH® ensures that no candidate is treated in any way differently to any other, on grounds of age, gender or ethnicity.
